Ministry for the Environment

FINNZ designed and built the Online Waste Levy System (OWLS) for MfE which allows disposal facilities to submit returns and pay levies for all waste which they collect. This online system is now hosted and supported by FINNZ and it is the FINNZ team which operates this system under contract for MfE.

Ministry of Fisheries

FINNZ worked with the Ministry of Fisheries to capture their requirements for the registry system for amateur charter vessels. FINNZ also designed and built a web application to manage this registry service in addition to hosting the system. The FINNZ team now operates this system for the Ministry.

Ministry of Economic Development

FINNZ analysts worked with the Ministry of Economical Development to document their Energy and Modeling team’s requirements for a tool to capture energy data. FINNZ created a suite of documentation capturing the user requirements along with the non-functional requirements and matrices to link the requirements. This documentation has been used to initiate a procurement process for the tool.

Eastern Institute of Technology

FINNZ is the development partner for EIT, who are based in the Hawke’s Bay. FINNZ provide EIT with business analysis and Microsoft .NET development services. This partnership has allowed EIT to proceed with projects in the areas of research publication, system development and business intelligence.
