Methodologies
Our development approach can vary from client to client – we tailor our approach to be the most supportive of our
clients needs. We are continually enhancing our software development life cycle to incorporate industry standards
and what we have found that works best. We also ensure that any development approach is suitably aligned and incorporated
into our project management methodology. We utilise components of the following methodologies, Rational Unified Process
(RUP), Unified Modelling Language (UML), Iterative development.
Whether we follow an iterative development path or the tradition waterfall approach, we give careful consideration to the following;
- Nature and level of communication – real time face to face or written
- Desired level of user involvement
- Frequency of software iterations
- Complexity of requirements
- Project size and timeframes
- Suitability of project phasing
