Since establishing FINNZ in 2003 Mark has held the role of General Manager. Prior to FINNZ Mark worked as the Catch Data Manager and Quota Allocations Manger at FishServe and New Zealand's Ministry of Fisheries.
As an experienced governance practitioner, Mark is involved at a strategy and governance level within key FINNZ projects. Mark’s core skill is helping organisations to implement change, achieving their goals by governing the design and implementation of new business processes, resources, and systems. This experience has been applied in the fisheries and waste sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and in other jurisdictions in the Pacific, Europe and Middle East.
Mark's time away from the office is spent with family, watching the kids play footy, coaching and administering junior cricket, and thinking of good reasons to put off mowing the lawns this weekend.
